1. The Service

Recepte provides an AI-powered receptionist that answers phone calls and WhatsApp messages for your business. The service includes automated booking, client management, marketing campaigns, and daily reporting — all delivered via WhatsApp and voice calls.

2. Free Trial

New users receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start. After 14 days, your account will be paused unless you choose a paid plan. No charges are made without your explicit consent.

3. Pricing

Pricing is calculated based on your business type, location, and size. Your price is shown before you confirm your subscription. All prices include unlimited calls, WhatsApp messages, bookings, and marketing features. There are no hidden fees or per-message charges.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time by messaging "cancel" on WhatsApp or emailing us. Cancellation is effective immediately. No refunds are given for partial months. Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation, then permanently deleted.

5. Your Responsibilities

You must have the right to use the phone number you register
You must inform your clients that an AI assistant may handle their calls
You must not use the service for spam, harassment, or illegal purposes
You are responsible for the accuracy of your business information
You must comply with local regulations regarding AI disclosure

6. AI Limitations

Recepte uses AI technology that, while advanced, is not perfect. The AI may occasionally:

Misunderstand a caller's request
Provide incomplete information
Fail to handle edge-case scenarios

We continuously improve our AI. You can review all conversations via your daily WhatsApp summary and correct any issues.

7. Uptime

We target 99.9% uptime for call answering and WhatsApp responses. If our service is unavailable, calls will ring through to your phone as normal. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party providers (WhatsApp, phone networks).

8. Data & Privacy

Your data and your clients' data are governed by our Privacy Policy. We take data protection seriously and comply with GDPR and UK data protection law.

9. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your business data. We retain ownership of our AI technology, software, and service infrastructure. You grant us a licence to use your business information solely for providing the service.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recepte's total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for lost revenue, missed bookings, or any indirect damages arising from AI errors.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated 30 days in advance via WhatsApp or email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.
