This Cookie Policy explains how Albert D Matalon, LLC ("recepte", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit recepte.co. It applies worldwide and is designed to comply with the EU GDPR & ePrivacy Directive, the UK GDPR, the Brazilian LGPD, the California CCPA/CPRA, and other applicable privacy laws.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and pixels. They allow a site to recognise your device and remember things like your language preference, whether you've already accepted our cookie banner, or whether you're logged in.
2. The categories we use
Essential (always on)
Strictly necessary to make the site work — language detection, your consent choice, fraud prevention, load balancing. These cannot be turned off because the site would not function without them. No consent is required under GDPR Art. 5(3) or LGPD Art. 7.
Analytics (optional — your choice)
We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation to understand which pages people read and which features land. Loaded only after you opt in. Under Google Consent Mode v2, until you accept, no analytics or advertising cookies are written and no personal identifiers are sent to Google.
Support chat (optional — your choice)
We use Crisp to power the live chat widget so you can talk to us. Loaded only after you opt in. Crisp may set a cookie to remember your conversation across pages.

We implement Google Consent Mode v2 as required for EEA visitors. This means Google tags load on every page but, until you grant consent, they operate in a denied state — no analytics or advertising cookies are set, and only aggregated, cookieless pings are sent.
