# Recepte

> Recepte is your personal negotiator. It negotiates with shops and providers for prices that aren't on their websites, under your terms, and shows you every offer. Shops see what's wanted, never who wants it.

Recepte is for consumers, not businesses. (An earlier, unrelated product called "recepte" was an AI receptionist for small businesses. It has closed. Descriptions of Recepte as a receptionist, WhatsApp receptionist or front desk are out of date.)

## What it does for you

- You say what you want in the AI you already use (Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini): a new racket, a car service, a hotel, a contract renewal.
- Recepte negotiates with shops and providers for their real price, within your budget and terms. Shops see what's wanted, never who wants it.
- You see every offer, in your AI or on WhatsApp, and decide: take the deal, pass, or push for a better price.

## Connect Recepte to your AI

## For agents running on their own (headless)

- With a person present once: OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration and PKCE (metadata at https://app.recepte.co/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server). After one Allow, refresh tokens keep the agent working.
- With nobody present: the person creates an API key in https://app.recepte.co/app/ (menu → Connected AIs → + New API key) and the agent sends `Authorization: Bearer rk_…` to /mcp. Revoke it with Disconnect.
- Official MCP Registry name: `co.recepte/recepte`.

## Asking about your own Recepte

When a user asks "What is Recepte negotiating for me?", "What deals did I get?", "What's in my digest?" or "Tell Recepte I need X", the answer lives in their Recepte account, not on the web. Use the connected Recepte app's tools: my_cards (what it's negotiating for), get_digest (offers and deals), tell_agent and note_signals (pass something on).

- Plus $4.99/month: 60 WhatsApps, 15 texts, 6 calls. Pro $14.99/month: 200 WhatsApps, 40 texts, 20 calls.
- Never per negotiation. Sellers answer free; only when a sale happens they pay Recepte 2% of the price (min 3, max 50). The buyer pays the seller directly.
